This presentation will review the IEP meeting process through the Universal Design for Learning lens in order to create an accessible and supportive environment for all IEP team members.   Participants will consider the experience of a family they support and have an opportunity to redesign how the family engages, how information is represented, and support multiple means of action and expression in order to create purposeful, reflective, and authentic participation in IEP meetings.  The presentation will model the principles of UDL and participants will leave with tools that make the IEP process more accessible to all team members.
