This presentation will dive into the world of parents and their perspectives as IEP participants. In addition, collaborating with a school district parent liaison and an independent child advocate allows parents to feel more empowered to become their child’s best advocate. So, join us on this journey where we discuss the main reasons parents feel excluded from participation in IEPs and how the ADR process can resolve these conflicts to rebuild relationships and hopefully prevent future disputes between parents and LEAs.
