2025 SELPA ADR Conference - Synergy in Action!

Participants will learn how the Tulare County SELPA builds and restores relationships between districts and parents with the support of the SELPA using Special Education Parent Liaisons. The Tulare County SELPA utilizes impartial, unbiased, individuals with personal familiar experience with the IEP process to walk alongside parents through the IEP process when disputes arise or trust is broken. Our Special Education Parent Liaisons are not advocates but neutral liaisons to support both parents and districts to resolve conflicts. Special Education Parent Liaisons are part of the Tulare County SELPA’s ADR services to increase understanding and educate parents about the IEP process.
