About me
Stacy Alvey is the Director of Family and School Collaboration for the Ventura County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). She oversees the SELPA’s Dispute Prevention & Resolution program, developing a continuum of supports for families and districts in Ventura County. Stacy is part of the Statewide System of Support as a member of the Special Education Resource Lead (SERL) in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Pathways to Partnership consortium includes Ventura and Tehama County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), Ventura and Tehama County Office of Education (COE), and the Family Empowerment Centers that serve those areas. Pathways to Partnership has established and experienced leadership in designing model programs in Dispute Prevention and Resolution. Stacy is a licensed clinical social worker, credentialed school psychologist, certified mediator and conflict coach.
